As a writer, I have experienced the confusion and frustration that has developed with the advent of technology and the changes in our industry.  A ‘writer platform’ is no longer just for non-fiction writers, but is now an essential part of the equation for every writer working toward building a strong and successful writing career.

Gone are the days of the lonely, introverted writer. In today’s world, we are expected to not only create great work, but to aid in its discoverability as well. Honing our writing skills is only part of the journey; we must also sharpen our marketing and business skills and embrace a more integrated approach to our craft.
